Compal enhances the quality of education – Onesiphorus Children’s Home (Kidsalive International) takes root in technology

The Onesiphorus Children’s Home in Taitung, where Hsu Chauing Social Welfare & Charity Foundation has been offering care and counseling for a long time, is made up mostly of children from families of the financially disadvantaged. In 2020, Compal Electronics has come to know that some kids from the Children's Home have already got enrolled in high school and university, and they need tablet computers as an auxiliary tool for schoolwork and home assignments. Therefore, Compal sponsored 20 iPads to the Children's Home to assist these students for auxiliary learning in classes and enhance their skills and utility in operation for computer information.

The children from Onesiphorus Children’s Home sent thank-you cards, and we also hope that these computers can help them to make progress in their schoolwork and learn more knowledge to fulfill their dreams. As such, they can then have the ability to help more people in need in the future.

To promote high-quality education, Compal Electronics has taken roots in science and technology, continued to take part in various activities to support the quality of education for disadvantaged children in rural areas, and persisted in implementing and responding to the sustainable development goals of the United Nations for achievement by 2030.
