Presentation Ceremony of Sunshine Scholarship and Grant by Compal for 2020

The presentation award ceremony for North District Scholarship and Grants of the Sunshine Foundation and the First Golden Model Award was held on December 12. In fact, the "Compal x Sunshine Scholarship" has been in existence for 22 years, which has specially designed to provide "Outstanding Computer Talent Scholarship" and "Computer Excellence Scholarship" for students with burns and facial impairments yet with excellent computer skills. The objective is to encourage fearless externality and focus on learning so that these bright and optimistic students can bravely advance toward their goals.

This presentation ceremony's theme is "Wei Wei," and every student, regardless of age, can come to the stage to receive the awards and deliver will their Wei Wei declaration.
 

You Hong-cheng, the deputy director of Compal, presented the scholarships and grants on behalf of the company. Together with other sponsors, you were awarded a certificate of appreciation by Tseng Guofeng, the Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation Director. During the event, Chiu Tse-en, a student from the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering of National Central University, won the " Compal Outstanding Computer Talent Award" and the "Advancement Scholarship Award," and he also attended the award ceremony in person. Actually, Mr. Chiu came across an explosion accident on his way home four years ago, which caused 36% of his body to suffer deep burns to his hands and feet, with a ligament break on his left foot. However, he has never given up his dream to become an engineer and insisted on his studies during the difficult process of rehabilitation. His Wei Wei declaration is, "I like to become an otaku, but would never give up the love and learning for new technology and things." As such,e looks forward to giving back to society professionally in the future and helps other injured friends achieve their rehabilitation goals.
