COMPAL participated in "Meeting Love in the Light" 2023 Christmas Health Day in Fu Jen Catholic University Hospital

On December 9th, COMPAL sponsored and participated in the "FJU Hospital Christmas Health Day" organized by Fu Jen Catholic University Hospital and Fu Jen Rural Education Care Center during the Christmas month.

The event aims to encourage community elders to develop a habit of regular health check-ups and to educate them about health knowledge. At the same time, it is a celebration of Christmas with the residents and children of Taishan District and Xinzhuang District.

With the efforts of the district office and neighborhood leaders, the community's senior citizens eagerly stepped out of their homes to participate in the event.

 

Upon entering the hospital lobby, one can see the dedicated and busy doctors and nurses from various departments conducting health check-ups. The children are also focused on completing their Christmas artwork.

For this event, the volunteers from the Mudanxin Community in Xinzhuang District, as well as the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family, the Missionary Sisters of the Merciful Mother, St. Paul's Catholic Church in Xinzhuang, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Taishan, the St. Paul's Filial Daughter Society, the Missionary Sisters of Mary and St. Francis, the Dominican Sisters, and the Little Sisters of De La Salle, along with priests, all participated in the Health Day activities. They guided and accompanied the senior citizens from different neighborhoods in their health check-ups and various activities.

With warm eyes and gentle smiles from the healthcare professionals and volunteers, blessings and well wishes were exchanged, and everyone wished each other a peaceful and happy holiday season.
