COMPAL x GaoShiLib ESG Reading Charity in Jiacian & Liugui Elementary Schools

Over the past three years, COMPAL partnered with Kaohsiung Public Library to promote reading education. Students and public of Kaohsiung's Neimen, Ah Lian, Meituo Park, and the Meituo Branch Library have been benefited from the program. The ESG Parochial Reading Program "Experiencing the AR Interactive Environmental Education Course," which is a joint project of COMPAL and Kaohsiung Public Library, invited students of the Axien Elementary School to experience guided reading of picture book on May 10. By integrating technology into learning, it is hoped to cultivate the spirit of teamwork among students.
On May 23rd, COMPAL, together with Kaohsiung Public Library Headquarter and Lugui Branch Library visited Lugui Elementary School in Kaohsiung to introduce AR technology picture book stories to students. This was also the first time that COMPAL visit Lugui Elementary School to allow their students to experience AR environmental education as part of COMPAL's public welfare cooperation in promoting quality education and learning. On that day, teachers accompanied students to conduct the environmental education programin 5 AR picture book games sessions.
Guided by professional lecturers and staff of Illustration Book Department, Kaohsiung Public Library (KPL) Headquarter, children experienced four age-appropriate AR illustration games in five sessions. Through exploring AR games, we hope students can discover what they like and what is important to them. Through operating AR technology, it helps the growth and expansion of technology knowledge over environmental protection. We look forward to bring together our young cohorts in improving climate and ecology system of the planet.
To develop technology innovation, COMPAL joined KPL Jiashien and Liugui on the AR environmental trip, an experience through multiple reading method to enable children the application of knowledge into sustainable nature and ecology protection in everyday life.
