Compal Green Life Club "Hsia Liao Beach Cleaning "

On 29 October, 41 Club members and their families spent a day at Hsia Liao Beach, Wanli, to pick up garbage and support the Huantsi Recycling Service.

The two 2022 beach cleaning events have been focused in Jinshan and Wanli, both at the North Coastline. During both events, many children showed up alongside their parents. Action speaks louder than words, as they become part of the cleaning action early in life, these children will be more aware of what it means not to throw litter on the ground and to minimize the use of plastic bottles. The recovery efforts of all involved saw the beaches restored their original beauty on the Jinshan and Wanli coastlines.

Taking the initiative to live with less plastic, Compal workers incorporate daily habits into climate change mitigation and adaptation through energy-efficient choices and beach cleaning events, actively becoming engaged in SDG14 – Life Below Water.
