“Bike for Charity” by the Compal SDBG Purchasing Department

Members of Compal's SDBG Purchasing Department, led by Senior Associate Manager Wen-Da Hsu, visited several nursing homes in Huadong on 16-18 November during the “Bike for Charity” event. The team began their journey at Taitung and travelled to TCH, the Galilee Foundation, TFCF, the Hualien Anders Qi Zhi Center, Hualien FCF, and New Dawn Reform School, and ended the journey at World Vision. Dressed in their Compal Public Welfare uniform, the team delivered love and care for the elderly and other people in need.

For more than six years, the charity piggy banks have been filled with donations delivered to charity organizations through “Bike for Charity” events.

This action was extended across different departments through the SDBG Purchase Center. GM Weng and Deputy Executive Manager Peng made personal donations and raised awareness of these great causes within the Company. We would like to express our gratitude to Unitelgroups Chairperson Wei for the donation and continued engagement.

Thank you to our Charity Motorcycle Team for delivering love and care to remote and mountain areas. We hope to spread our commitment and belief in supporting rural education and care for disadvantaged groups across society and delivering a genuine message of love, kindness and sustainability to the people around us.
