TCSA Winner Compal, Winner of the Taiwan Top 100 Sustainable Corporates Award

The 15th TCSA & GCSA 2022 Joint Award Ceremony organized by the TAISE was held yesterday (16th). Compal received the Taiwan Top 100 Sustainability Platinum Award – Corporate and Taiwan Sustainability Report. Our Associate General Manager, Ting, Chang-Jie, represented the Company and received the award at the ceremony. The TCSA & GCSA awards event has been hosted by the TAISE for 15 years. This year, a historic 424 applications were received, 29% more compared to last year. A total of 581 companies, contributing about 76% market value of Taiwan listed companies, have taken part in the award over the years. This reflects the increasing attention to sustainable development in all industries.
Compal has been committed to corporate sustainable development. To strengthen sustainable governance, our Board of Directors established the Committee of Sustainable Development to formulate targets based on different material topics. Compal’s Carbon SBT plan and Net Zero Commitment were submitted to the SBTi in April 2022, and describe the actions and determination of Compal against climate risks and challenges. We are also dedicated to improving employee welfare and social engagement, and education quality, and innovating and implementing environmental sustainability initiatives, management systems, applicable policies, and activities in response to the UN’s 17 SDGs by 2030.
“Being awarded the 2022 TCSA and Taiwan Top 100 Sustainability Model not only recognized our transparent and moral business operations, but also gained the trust of our stakeholders and employees,” said Associate General Manager Ting, Chang-Jie. Our first Taiwan Top 100 Sustainability Model in 2022 outlines our sustainability efforts. Our Committee of Sustainable Development formulates ESG-applicable strategies with customers and suppliers, envisioning corporate sustainable development implementation.
