COMPAL “Danshui River Mangrove Nature Reserve: Eco-environmental Education Activity” Part 2 -2022 Mangrove Tour 1

 

We actively promote wetland education in response to the goal of International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resource: Protecting 30% of ocean in 2030. On September 24, 38 Compal colleagues and their family members gathered in the Hong-shu-lin Station and attend the activity of Compal, Danshu River Mangrove Natural Reserve- Eco-environmental Education” despite the strong typhoon attack.

Mangrove is a natural wetland with rich ecosystem diversity. It can not only adjust water resource, but the breeding place and the place where they get the food for many creatures. The blue carbon ecological plate, mangrove, seaweed, the herbaceous plants and algae in the salina can as well as protect the ecology of carbon reduction environment.
