COMPAL Volunteer Service in's " "Holiday Camp at Shanghu Elementary School" Volunteer Service

To help more schoolchildren know learn about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), COMPAL corporate volunteers had, in 2022, rendered their services forfor a holiday camp at Shanghu Elementary School on March 19, 2022. The theme of this camp wasis "Spread Love and Sustainability", so that the participating grade 3 to 6 students can learn to appreciate why they should work together with people around the world to implement the Sustainable Development Goals, and the meaning and purpose of the 17 categories “2030 SDGs” categories of the by UN for mankind.

Colleagues from the volunteer club had prepared a reading course comprising of picture books on environmental ecology, so that school children could can understand the impact of climate on the ecology and the importance of implementing SDG 13 ( climate action) through the basic survival needs of animals in storytelling. CBesides, children and their as well as big brothers and sisters are encouraged to save electricity and energy in their daily life, and develop sustainable green actions to for reduce d carbon emissions.
