Participation in External Organizations:
Implementing ESG as one of Compal's core values, the company has long been actively involved in various domestic and global initiatives and associations, striving to achieve sustainable development goals. The areas of participation include industry information exchange, corporate governance, sustainable management and social care, tech innovation, etc. Compal engages in communication, exchanges insights, and shares implementation experiences with stakeholders and benchmark enterprises.
In response to the global challenge of climate change, Compal strongly supports the Paris Agreement. We have completed a decarbonization pathway aligned with the 1.5°C scenario and set Science-Based Targets (SBTs). Compal and all global operational sites covered under its consolidated boundary are committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. To ensure that our climate actions remain consistent with our external engagements, we establish【Statement on Compal’s Participation in Climate-Related Initiatives and the Management of Industry Associations】mechanism covering participation criteria, internal evaluation, decision-making procedures, and exit mechanisms for climate-related initiatives, industry associations, policy advocacy, and lobbying activities. The procedure【Compal’s Operational Procedure for Managing Participation in Climate-Related Policy Advocacy and Lobbying】has been established a unified internal governance mechanism to enhance transparence and consistency in policy engagement.
