COMPAL & KINPO Group Builds Smart Mobility Ecosystem, Showcasing Integrated Smart Mobility Strategy at Taipei AMPA

COMPAL & KINPO Group, together with its subsidiaries Kinpo Electronics (2312), AcBel Polytech Inc. (6282), and Compal Electronics (2324), jointly participated in the “Taipei International Automotive Electronics Show (AMPA)” on April 14. Under the theme of the “Smart Automotive Ecosystem,” the group demonstrated its integrated capabilities across automotive electronics, power systems, and in-vehicle applications, showcasing its strategic development in the smart mobility sector.
Kinpo Electronics has been continuously strengthening its automotive electronics portfolio in response to the trends of vehicle intelligence and electrification. At this exhibition, the company highlighted its smart cockpit solutions. Its advanced in-vehicle systems are powered by the latest ARM-based processors and support Linux or Android Automotive operating systems depending on application requirements, demonstrating strong R&D capabilities in automotive electronics and embedded system integration.
The next-generation smart cockpit platform features multi-display capabilities, connectivity functions, and a high-performance computing architecture. It is seamlessly integrated with millimeter-wave radar, in-vehicle cameras, and multiple sensor systems, supporting Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and a wide range of intelligent cockpit applications. This enables the rapid development of next-generation smart cockpit and ADAS solutions.
AcBel Polytech focuses on electric vehicle power systems and charging applications, presenting comprehensive solutions covering onboard power conversion and charging infrastructure, along with system integration and platform-based development capabilities. At the exhibition, AcBel showcased its 2-in-1 Combo series, available in both 400V and 800V specifications, integrating an 11kW onboard charger (OBC) with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality and a 3kW DC/DC converter.
The company also presented DC/DC power conversion solutions, including an 800V-to-48V/12V 6kW dual-output system and a 400V-to-12V 3kW solution. These products feature high efficiency and wide input voltage ranges, comply with ISO 26262 functional safety requirements, and are expected to obtain ISO 21434 cybersecurity certification in Q3 2026. In addition, AcBel showcased a collaboration solution with ChargePoint, further demonstrating its capability in integrating vehicle power systems with charging infrastructure.
Compal Electronics focuses on advanced sensing and automotive safety applications by establishing SYLUX, a U.S.-based automotive infrared technology company, to strengthen partnerships with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. SYLUX specializes in infrared sensing and AI perception technologies, delivering automotive safety solutions capable of stable performance in night-time, low-light, and adverse weather conditions.
At the exhibition, SYLUX presented its scalable infrared camera product portfolio—Core, Plus, and Prime—which supports applications ranging from compliant ADAS systems to Level 2+ through Level 4 autonomous driving. Based on its proprietary CDAT™ (Classification, Distance, Action, Tracking) AI technology stack, SYLUX enhances sensing performance and helps automakers meet global safety standards such as FMVSS 127 and Euro NCAP, offering strong commercial readiness for mass production deployment.
In response to the rapid growth of the smart mobility industry, Kinpo Group continues to strengthen its system integration strategy by combining automotive electronics and power technologies. Leveraging both hardware and software design capabilities as well as global manufacturing resources, the group enhances product development efficiency and accelerates mass production readiness through internal integration and strategic partnerships. This enables automakers to accelerate the adoption of next-generation automotive applications and advance the development of the smart mobility ecosystem.
Through this joint exhibition, Kinpo Group demonstrated its integrated strengths extending from core technologies to full-system applications. Visitors are welcome to the booth M0514 on the 4th floor of Hall 1, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, from April 14 to April 17.
