COMPAL AI Team Wins Silver Award at the 2026 Ministry of Economic Affairs Best AI Awards

The winners of the 2nd “Best AI Awards”, hosted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, were announced. COMPAL Electronics (COMPAL; TWSE: 2324) Central Software Headquarters, Advanced Analytic Digital AI Office won the Silver Award for its project, “AI Agent for PC Test Automation.” Focusing on agentic AI and edge intelligence, the competition brought together top innovations from industry and academia. COMPAL’s AI Team stood out among 1,487 teams from 36 countries, with the award recognizing its strong market potential, technological innovation, and leadership in agentic AI.
The award-winning project is centered on Agentic AI and is applied to the quality inspection process. Its key objective is to address challenges in traditional PC testing, which heavily relies on manual effort, involves hard-to-maintain automation scripts, and lacks scalability. Through a self-developed agent-based AI architecture, COMPAL’s AI team has enabled a complete operational loop consisting of “Think” (logical planning), “Act” (autonomous execution), and “Verify” (precise validation), effectively overcoming the limitations of conventional automated testing. In addition, a HITL (Human-in-the-Loop) mechanism has been incorporated at critical checkpoints to ensure the highest level of accuracy in agent-driven testing decisions, delivering tangible benefits to smart manufacturing and quality management.
