
COMPAL Electronics (COMPAL; TWSE: 2324) has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting the Company’s progress and achievements in sustainability governance, climate action, green innovation, talent development, sustainable supply chain management, and social inclusion. In 2025, COMPAL continued to strengthen its ESG governance and low-carbon transition, taking concrete actions toward its 2050 net-zero goal.
In sustainability governance, COMPAL achieved an S&P Global CSA Score of 89 in 2025 and received multiple honors at the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA), including the “Taiwan Sustainability Report Platinum Award,” “Taiwan Top 100 Sustainable Companies,” and “Supply Chain Leadership Award.”In 2026, COMPAL’s sustainability performance received further international recognition with its inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, ranking in the Top 5% of the THQ (Computers & Peripherals and Office Electronics) industry.

In climate and environmental action, in 2025, COMPAL reduced Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions within its standalone financial reporting boundary by 33.5% year-on-year, while renewable energy accounted for 57.2% of total energy consumption, demonstrating continued progress in operational decarbonization and energy transition. The Company also continued to strengthen climate governance and risk management in alignment with IFRS S2. In resource circularity, the waste-to-landfill rate decreased to 1.69%, demonstrating a notably low level of waste sent to landfill, while the Kunshan and Vietnam sites achieved UL 2799 Platinum and Gold certifications, respectively. In green products, 56% of the Company’s 62 innovation projects incorporated recycled plastics containing more than 40% recycled content, while COMPAL continued to advance circular material innovation. OysterPlas, an oyster shell-derived recycled engineering plastic developed by COMPAL, has been successfully incorporated into customer products and commercialized, receiving international recognition including the iF Design Award, CES Innovation Award, COMPUTEX Best Choice Award, and Red Dot Design Award, highlighting COMPAL’s innovation capabilities and global impact in circular materials.
COMPAL also continued to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace while strengthening sustainable supply chain management. In 2025, women accounted for 41.05% of the Company’s global workforce and 31.18% of management positions. COMPAL completed ESG/RBA audits of 85 suppliers, representing a significant increase from the previous year, and continued to advance the ONE+N Electronics Industry Net-Zero Acceleration Program, achieving cumulative carbon reductions of 14,761 tCO₂e while working with suppliers to strengthen climate resilience and sustainability management capabilities.
In social engagement, COMPAL contributed more than NT$17.23 million to social initiatives in Taiwan in 2025, with approximately 5,000 participations in community engagement activities benefiting around 73,961 people. Through initiatives spanning education, support for disadvantaged groups, and other social programs, COMPAL continues to deepen local engagement and create meaningful social impact.
