ompal Electronics, Inc. (“Compal”) (TAIEX: 2324) today announced 2019 consolidated financial results. 2019 consolidated revenue was NT$980,442 million, +1% YoY. Consolidated OP profit was improved to NT$10,586 million, +14% YoY, due to enhanced product mix and continued efficiency improvement. Consolidated net profit attributed to the parent company was NT$6,956 million and EPS was NT$1.60. Compal Board of Directors today also approved NT$1.2 cash dividends per share for year 2019, representing 75% payout ratio.
4Q19 consolidated revenue was NT$267,523 million, +7% QoQ, mainly contributed by the Smart Devices growth. Given the improved efficiency and enlarged scale, consolidated OP profit increased by 28% QoQ to NT$3,086 million. Consolidated net profit contributed to the parent company was NT$2,014 million. 4Q19 EPS was NT$0.47.
