Taipei, Taiwan (May 24, 2019) – Continuing the momentum on new technologies, Compal Electronics is pleased to showcase a series of “New Smart Living” devices, with a primary focus on the real life applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), 5G Advances and Gaming among other key innovations in Computex Taipei 2019.
As a frequent iF Award winner currently listed in 17th place under “Companies Ranking” in the iF Design Award 2019, Compal seeks to highlight its profound insights and design prowess through innovations that will integrate seamlessly into modern living.
The designs showcased are a continuing effort in Compal’s new business model as a total solution provider, where major themes this year include tech in 5G, AI and Augmented Reality (AR). New edge IoTs will also extend from personalized in-home comforts to bear even greater realistic applications elsewhere.
For example, 5G-enabled wearables will realize even greater flexibilities and mobilities for travelers. Three separate AI hearable categories will provide hearing relief for the general mass, fashionistas and elderlies. A continued exploration of the recently marketed smart assistant, “Lucia” will be featured, including a smaller, more compacted version smart speaker, a fun-shaped smart toy and the new application of a lavatory use television. Then lastly, intelligent meeting devices as well as a plethora of other mobile technologies like AR glasses will provide greater efficiencies and access toward remote work use.
In addition to these original designs, Compal’s core products to highlight include a new line of notebooks to feature 5G, auxiliary display and game-centric designs. Servers, wearables, smart logistics/Industrial IoT (IIoT) and devices showcasing Compal’s long standing medical focused IoTs like the BOOSTFIX and Stampede System that targets physical wellness, or Mermaid and Elfin System* and iDiabCare® a diabetes monitoring APP that targets elderly care will also be showcased at the show.
