On March 29, Mr. Chih-Hung Chao, Manager of the Sustainability Development Office at COMPAL, attended the reopening ceremony of the newly renovated “Woodlight Library” at Cih-Wen Elementary School in Taoyuan.
As visitors stepped into the refreshed space, they were greeted by bright natural lighting, clean furnishings, and a playful design filled with childlike imagination - bringing many back to the purest moments of their own childhood, immersed in the joy of reading.
COMPAL is honored to support the library renovation by donating updated equipment. Seeing the library transformed into a cozy and inviting place reaffirms our hope that children can read freely and explore the vast world in a more comfortable and nurturing environment.
We believe that diverse reading experiences ignite imagination and open windows to the world. Education has long been a cornerstone of Compal’s social responsibility, and we are committed to nurturing every child as a powerful force for shaping a more sustainable future.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Cih-Wen Elementary School and all the dedicated educators and partners who contributed to making the “Woodlight Library” a reality. Every chair and every desk marks the starting point of a child’s dream. A quality learning space is the nourishment that fosters healthy growth. May every child who reads here find inspiration, purpose, and strength for their journey ahead.
