On Thursday, April 17, accompanied by the Hsu Chau-Ing Foundation (HCI Foundation), COMPAL organized an environmental education field trip for 82 teachers and students from Qingyuan Elementary School to the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology (NMMST), embarking on a fun-filled and educational journey of marine exploration.
Guided by museum educators and accompanying teachers, the children engaged in a sensory-rich learning experience centered on the “five senses”:
👀 Observing ecological details with their eyes
👂 Listening to the sounds of the ocean
👐 Participating in hands-on creative workshops
🎭 Enjoying interactive theater performances

Through themed guided instruction and practical activities, students gained a deeper understanding of the interconnection between humans and nature, while exploring the wonders of biodiversity and marine culture. They also learned the importance of communication and collaboration during group activities, embodying the spirit of mutual support and teamwork.
This program was more than just an off-campus excursion—it was a meaningful step in environmental enlightenment.
By learning through play and engaging in action-based learning, the students experienced the value of environmental protection firsthand, planting the seeds of sustainability and a lifelong love for our planet.
