In 2024, COMPAL invites its partners to actively respond to the "Million Green Actions - One More Plastic is worse than One Less Plastic" campaign initiated by the Taiwan Environmental Information Association in celebration of Earth Day. This initiative encourages everyone to reconsider how they can further reduce their reliance on plastic in daily life and continue to encourage colleagues to try the 63 action commitments for a sustainable and beautiful planet.

 

The theme for Earth Day 2024, organized by EARTHDAY.ORG, is "Planet vs. Plastics," aiming to end plastic use for the health of humanity and the Earth. The goal is to reduce plastic production by 60% by 2040, providing future generations with a plastic-free world.

 

COMPAL employees have collectively registered to implement 7,173 sustainable green actions, committing to reduce plastic use, conserve energy, learn about plastic reduction initiatives, and prioritize ecological practices that reduce plastic and carbon emissions in their personal lives.
