On March 23, 2024, Compal's Taipei headquarters, SDBG building, and Pingzhen factory joined the global initiative by turning off exterior decorative lights and non-essential lighting for one hour in support of Earth Hour.

Compal employees and senior executives actively supported this event, with colleagues stationed in Poland also participating at their local time. This initiative encourages both businesses and individuals to reduce unnecessary energy waste, lower carbon emissions, and take action to support a sustainable ecological environment through reducing plastic use and carbon output.
