On October 1, COMPAL volunteers paid their first visit to Kanner Garden and worked side by side with Kanner youth to complete the 2025 project “COMPAL Big Sisters & Big Brothers │ Mid-Autumn Mooncake Delivery – Our Public-Benefit Efforts Never Stop”, helping assemble the Mid-Autumn mooncake gift boxes.
Under the task assignments arranged by the Kanner Garden teachers, Team A and Team B of the COMPAL x Kanner mooncake assembly line were formed. Following the guidance of the Kanner youth and instructors, COMPAL colleagues worked together to assemble the mooncakes, place in the Mid-Autumn blessing cards from COMPAL’s big brothers and big sisters, attach COMPALstickers, and then check quantities and seal each carton according to the number of boxes for each delivery address.
With seamless teamwork between 12 COMPAL volunteers and 18 Kanner youth, the group worked with great speed and coordination, finishing all tasks before 11:30 a.m. All the Mid-Autumn blessings were packed and ready for delivery, so that—just before the festival—COMPAL’s big sisters and big brothers could send their good wishes to more than four thousand schoolchildren.
