The "ESG Rural Reading Charity" project, a collaboration between COMPAL and the Kaohsiung Public Library, is now in its fifth year!

On April 2, 2024, the library's mobile book truck will head to the Liuqiu branch of the Kaohsiung Public Library, inviting students from Liuqiu Elementary School to enjoy a live performance by the "He-ti Happy Theater Group."

The captivating performance by the "He-ti Happy Theater Group" brought joy to the students at Liuqiu Elementary, filling the venue with their laughter.

Through an interactive storytelling format using picture books, the children learned about the natural disasters caused by climate change and gained knowledge on crisis management and evacuation. The initiative emphasizes the importance of preserving mountains, forests, and soil in daily life,  encouraging the kids to become young climate action advocates who protect the ocean and forests while maintaining the natural environment.
