COMPAL Electronics, a global leader in technology innovation and system integration, announced that its SX420-2A AI server is among the first to support the new NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU. This milestone highlights the company’s advanced capabilities and forward-looking strategy in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC).
The SX420-2A, built on the NVIDIA MGX modular architecture, features a 4U high-density design compatible with both EIA 19-inch and ORv3 21-inch racks, and supports up to eight NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 GPUs. This NVIDIA RTX PRO Server from COMPAL is available in configurations that support the latest high-performance networking technologies, including NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs and NVIDIA ConnectX-8 SuperNICs with built-in PCIe Gen 6 switches, further enhancing data center connectivity and scalability. With this powerful combination, the platform enables enterprises to accelerate diverse workloads, including AI reasoning, agentic AI, digital twins, robotics simulation, and scientific research. Compared with the previous generation, the RTX PRO 6000 GPU delivers over 5X higher performance for AI inference and physical simulation workloads, while significantly reducing cost per performance.
Beyond hardware performance gains, the system is purpose built to accelerate applications using the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform, including frameworks, libraries, and NVIDIA NIM microservices. This allows organizations to scale AI deployments seamlessly across both cloud and on-premises environments. Industrial AI and physical AI applications developed with NVIDIA Omniverse libraries and NVIDIA Cosmos world foundation models can also take full advantage of these systems, accelerating workloads including digital twin development, robotics testing, and large-scale synthetic data generation and enabling the realization of smart manufacturing and next-generation physical AI.
“AI infrastructure is rapidly entering a new wave of transformation. By combining the SX420-2A with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, we deliver not only exceptional performance but also the flexibility needed to meet future industry demands, helping our customers strengthen their competitiveness in the AI era,” said Alan Chang, Vice President of Infrastructure Systems Business Unit at COMPAL.
Through this collaboration, COMPAL not only demonstrates its continued commitment to advancing AI and high-performance computing but also strengthens its presence in the global data center market. The company will continue working closely with ecosystem partners to deliver innovative solutions, enabling enterprises to embrace the AI era with greater performance, improved energy efficiency, and more flexible infrastructure.
