At the invitation of Professor Chien-Ming Lee from National Taipei University, co-hosting the seminar under the Financial Supervisory Commission's manufacturing sector plan, Mr. Chih-Hung Chao, Manager of COMPAL’s Sustainability Office, represented COMPAL Electronics at the June 11 event.

 

He delivered a keynote titled “Practical Application of the Sustainable Economic Activity Classification Guidelines in the Computer and Peripherals Industry”, sharing COMPAL's approach to aligning with the second edition of the Sustainable Economic Activity Classification Guidelines, and its efforts toward net-zero transformation.

COMPAL’s Implementation of Sustainable Economic Activity Standards

COMPAL Electronics conducted a detailed assessment using the classification standards specific to the computer and peripherals industry, evaluating both general and enabling economic activities.

 

The company applied technical screening criteria, performance metrics, and sustainability thresholds to determine its eligibility under the guidelines.
