On July 17, COMPAL Electronics was honored to attend the send-off ceremony for Taipei Medical University’s Feng Hsin Social Medical and Medical Knowledge Promotion Service Team, as they prepared to depart for Penghu. COMPAL cheered on the passionate university volunteers who are dedicating their summer to community service.
With 14 years of service legacy, this marks the 20th cohort of the Feng Hsin Medical and Social Service Team heading to Penghu. From July 19 to August 6, the team will visit 33 villages across two boroughs of Magong City and nearby communities, offering mobile medical services and conducting home visits with health education.
In full collaboration with the Penghu County Health Bureau, the 2025 program has expanded both in service scope and geographic coverage — reaching more remote villages and secondary offshore islands. The team continues to host Medical Experience Camps, and this year will, for the first time, conduct a Biomedical Science Camp for Junior High School Students at Weng Guang Junior High School.
The 2025 Feng Hsin Penghu Medical Service Team includes two subgroups:
✅ Medical Outreach Subgroup (Mobile Clinics + Home Visits)
✅ Medical Knowledge Promotion Subgroup (Programs for Elementary and Junior High School Students)
Led by Team Captain Huang Bi-Chi and supported by university faculty, honored guests, and fellow team members, the send-off ceremony concluded successfully with enthusiastic applause and blessings.
These passionate and energetic university volunteers carry forward the spirit of their predecessors — driven by a belief in “doing our best in everything we do.” They are committed to bringing quality healthcare and health education to the youth and communities of Penghu, delivering not only knowledge but also countless smiles.
