Since COMPAL moved to Neihu Science and Technology Park in 1999, it has been encouraging colleagues to use public transportation when commuting to work, and also encourages colleagues to share rides to and from get off work to reduce carbon emissions.

On July 1, Compal Electronics responded to the "Keelung, Taipei, and Taoyuan – My Carbon Reduction Passbook” activity ,supporting and encouraging employees in the Neihu Technology Park to use public transport more, which not only alleviates traffic congestion affecting local residents but also helps reduce vehicle carbon emissions.

Additionally, Compal has planned the "My Carbon Reduction Passbook + Love Passbook” activity to encourage employees to register and participate in the initiative.

Thanks to the participation of our colleagues, COMPAL ranked TOP 1 among carbon reduction enterprises in the Neihu Technology Park on on July 21.  As of July 31, 776 employees have responded to the program, accumulating a carbon reduction of 21,143.3 kg.

Furthermore, 350 employees donated appreciation gifts to the underprivileged children cared for by the HCI Charity Foundation, helping provide them with the opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling meal of their choice.
