On the afternoon of June 17, 2025, the Group hosted the seminar “Transition Risks and Corporate Responses in the Context of Net Zero.”
Chief Sustainability Officers from AcBel Polytech Inc., Kinpo Electronics, and COMPAL Electronics gathered together with over one hundred colleagues from across the Group, both onsite and online, to attend an inspiring and insightful session.
The seminar featured a keynote presentation by Dr. Liu Che-liang, currently Director of the Energy and Environment Research Center at the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER). Dr. Liu provided in-depth yet accessible insights into key topics such as net-zero emissions, carbon credits, and green power certificates, helping participants better understand essential tools and emerging trends for the low-carbon transition.
Participants from across the Group actively engaged in the discussion, raising thoughtful questions while collectively reviewing the strategies, goals, and long-term vision for achieving net-zero emissions. Many attendees shared after the session that “this seminar not only clarified complex issues but was also an incredible boost of knowledge.”
🌍 Achieving the 2050 net-zero goal requires more than policies—it depends on every step we take together.
This seminar served as both a knowledge recharge and a call to action. Let us join hands to accelerate our journey toward a sustainable planet.
Together, we move forward for a more sustainable Earth.
