COMPAL is the 2023 winner of the "TCSA's Top 100 Corporate Sustainability Awards and Corporate Sustainability Report - Platinum"

On November 15, Deputy General Manager Zhi-Qiang Wang, Vice President of Sustainability, received the honor on behalf of the Company.

The 16th  TAISE Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards received a record-high of 526 contestants, 24% more than the previous year before. To date, it has seen 731 corporates pursuing such recognition, showing a universal understanding of sustainable development in our society today.

Driven to the calling, COMPAL introduced the Sustainability Committee at the Board of Directors level in March 2022 and the Sustainability Office the following year to solidify sustainable governance. To stay ahead close of to the global trend to reduce on carbon footprint due to cutdown initiatives under the impact of climate change on the environment, in April 2022, we drafted made Science Based Targets and enacted a 2050 Commitment to Net Zero, proposing our goals to the  official by putting them forward to the SBTi. O; and our ONE+N Electronic Industry Supply Chain Net-Zero Acceleration Plan 2023 brought together 34 partner suppliers together to declare a mutual goal toward Net Zero, for which energy and carbon professionals shall will team up as a force of consultation force to navigate COMPAL towards its the carbon goals. By sharing best practices across the supply chain, we expect emulation among customers and suppliers to emulate our efforts to reduce carbon in this carbon contest. The same idea applies to employee health care and social engagement, helping to ameliorate community welfare, the quality of education, and the support for environmental sustainability actions through novel thinking and management, policy adoption, and activities, in line with the UN's 17 SDGs.

The winning of the Corporate Sustainability Report and Top 100 Corporate Sustainability Awards acknowledged COMPAL as a company of honesty and transparency that is trustworthy to stakeholders and employees; being in among the Top 100 further demonstrates proves our effort in sustainability efforts. Our Sustainability Committee partners with customers and suppliers to enable corporate sustainable development, as relayed by said Deputy Chief Sustainability Officer Jack Wang.

By As of 2023, COMPAL has been in the FTSE4GOOD Index and FTSE4Good TIP Taiwan ESG Index multiple times for our sustainability investment ing value in sustainability, a remarkable recognition by global investment organizations. We are also  ranked 6th among the Top 2000 manufacturing companies by Common Wealth Magazine, and have been on the Fortune 500 list for many years in terms of regarding the operation scale.
