At the event’s certification ceremony, COMPAL was formally recognized for its tangible actions in carbon reduction and for aligning with the 1.5°C target under the Paris Agreement.

Since the launch of the inaugural “Corporate Carbon Temperature Gauge” by CommonWealth Magazine, COMPAL has consistently met the 1.5°C reduction pathway standard for three consecutive years—demonstrating strong commitment and substantial contributions to climate action.

Within the Kinpo Group, not only COMPAL Computer but also Kinpo Electronics, Asia Vital

Components, and Arcadyan Technology achieved the 1.5°C carbon reduction target.

In 2025, the CommonWealth “Corporate Carbon Temperature Gauge Platform,” based on the United Nations IPCC methodology, evaluated over 1,200 companies and identified 405 enterprises whose climate strategies align with the 1.5°C target of the Paris Agreement—highlighting the collective momentum of Taiwanese companies in global climate efforts.

COMPAL’s Key Climate Commitments:

  • Officially joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
