
Taipei, October 16, 2025 — COMPAL and the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) jointly launched the inaugural 2025 AI Innovation Award at the Future Technology Pavilion of the Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE) today.
Since the call for entries opened, the event has attracted nearly 1,500 proposals. Eight outstanding teams were ultimately selected as winners, showcasing how AI technology is transforming smart cities, smart healthcare, education and entertainment, and new lifestyle experiences, opening a new chapter for Taiwan’s AI innovation landscape.
To further foster AI innovation exchange and practical adoption, COMPAL will participate in the “AI Future Mode: Innovation Application Technology Forum” on Saturday, October 18 at 10:30 a.m.
At the forum, Mr. Hsi-Kuan Chen, Senior Vice President and Chief Design Officer of the COMPAL Innovation Research Institute, will deliver a keynote entitled “AI Innovative Solutions Driving New Futures in Cities, Healthcare, Education and Life,” sharing COMPAL’s journey of AI implementation and its future vision.
