On February 5, 2026, COMPAL Electronics launched its first “Give Blood, Stand Together” blood donation campaign of the year at the Taipei Headquarters. A total of 127 colleagues successfully donated blood, collecting 195 units throughout the day—equivalent to 48,750 cc of blood—helping to replenish blood supplies and save lives.
After donating blood, participants are encouraged to drink plenty of water and replenish iron, protein, and vitamin C. The body will naturally produce new blood cells, increasing the proportion of young red blood cells and supporting overall health.
As of February 1, blood reserves across Taiwan remain 110,000 units short of the target safety stock level. If supplies are not replenished before the Lunar New Year holiday, emergency care and routine medical services may face serious blood shortages during the holiday period.
📣 With the nine-day Lunar New Year holiday approaching, those who meet the eligibility requirements and are willing to donate are encouraged to check daily locations of blood donation centers and mobile blood drives, and to continue being part of the community of happy blood donors, helping others through this life-saving act.
