In 2025, COMPAL corporate volunteers launched the “Getting to Know Taiwan Curio · Discovering Guandu” volunteer service program.
Starting with the first session on July 29, followed by additional sessions on August 26, October 4, and October 21, a total of four activities were held throughout the year. More than 50 COMPAL colleagues participated by using paid volunteer leave and joined the activities together with their family members. Through these experiences, participants explored the Guandu community, visited Taiwan Curio Art Youth, and learned about their creative works.
The volunteer services mainly focused on supporting Taiwan Curio Academy, including environmental organization, as well as assisting with the renovation and painting of the newly rented classroom, “Taiwan Curio 2 Plus.”
For many participants, this was their first visit to Taiwan Curio Academy. They also had the opportunity to watch the documentary Lost in the Earth, directed by Director Lin Cheng-sheng. We sincerely thank Art Director Han Shu-hua and Director Lin Cheng-sheng for their heartfelt sharing, which helped everyone better understand Taiwan Curio and engage in meaningful exchanges with the Taiwan Curio art youth about their daily work and lives.
The passionate and energetic Taiwan Curio youth warmly introduced COMPAL’s new friends to their favorite local foods, creating a joyful and memorable lunch shared together.
In 2025, COMPAL Electronics launched the “COMPAL ×Curio Academy: Art for Shared Well-Being” initiative, while also sponsoring the production of Curio’s documentary, “The Shapes of Life: Finding One’s Place in the World.”
In addition, 116 COMPAL colleagues made donations to support the filming of the documentary.
Together, we use love to draw closer to one another and to better understand the beauty of diverse lives, fostering a society that is harmonious, inclusive, and enriched through shared prosperity.
