For the fifth consecutive year, COMPAL’s “big brothers and big sisters” (employee volunteers) have shared the joy of Mid-Autumn Festival with children across Taiwan—enjoying the moon and mooncakes together, and sending festive encouragement to kids who work hard in both life and learning.
In 2025, a total of 982 COMPAL colleagues registered to support the Kanner Autism Foundation, jointly sponsoring 4,346 boxes of Kanner Bakery Mid-Autumn mooncakes. These mooncakes were gifted to 4,346 underprivileged schoolchildren around Taiwan as a heartfelt blessing.

On October 1, COMPAL volunteers also visited the after-school program at Dayuan Catholic Church, personally delivering “Mid-Autumn blessing mooncakes from Compal’s big brothers and big sisters ” to the children.
Although COMPAL has been partnering for years with the Fu Jen Catholic University Center of Care Services for Rural Area Education in Taiwan on the “Kangaroo Project” in-person after-school tutoring program, this was the first time Compal volunteers visited Dayuan Catholic Church in person to hand-deliver Mid-Autumn mooncakes.
The COMPAL big brothers and big sisters and the children introduced themselves to one another, with our colleagues sharing what they do at COMPAL in their daily work, and encouraging the kids to cherish their learning environment and explore future goals that truly interest them. We are grateful to the students, teachers, and priests at Dayuan Catholic Church, as well as to Ms. Shu-Yi from the Fu Jen Rural Center, for their warm hospitality—guiding our volunteers around the learning spaces and sharing the children’s learning achievements.
Listening to the kids talk about the role models they admire and look up to in their studies, we hope each child can discover a subject they are passionate about and a direction they want to work hard toward.
In the days leading up to the festival, thanks to the help of volunteers from Kanner, teachers from 102 schools across Taiwan, the HCI Foundation, and the in-person endpoints of the Compal x Fu Jen “Kangaroo Project”, the Compal x Kanner mooncakes were delivered into the hands of children in Taoyuan, Changhua, Yunlin, Hsinchu, Pingtung, Chiayi, Hualien, Taichung, Miaoli, Keelung, New Taipei, and Kaohsiung.
🥮 Blessings and companionship are the best gifts. 🎁
Wishing everyone a warm Mid-Autumn Festival, enjoying mooncakes under the full moon. 🌕
