On October 9, COMPAL received a Certificate of Appreciation from Dingshe Elementary School in Taoyuan for COMPAL's donation of iPADs for the implementation of the “Food and Agriculture Education and Bilingual Teaching Program”.
COMPAL 2024 donated a total of 80 iPADs to five schools that applied for the Hsu Chiu Ying Foundation's Tablet Teaching Program to support Taoyuan Dingshe Elementary School's “Flying High in the Cloud” program, as well as Zhongxing Elementary School's “ShuiYang Digital Sustainability Zhongxing”, Pingtung HaiFeng Elementary School's “Teather can play, Student can create”, Chiu Wo Elementary School's “Ecology and School Environment Sustainable Improvement” program, and Chiu Tung Elementary School's “Creativity and Innovation” program. Chiu Wo Elementary School's “Ecological and Campus Environment Sustainable Improvement” program, and Chiu Tung Elementary School's “Creative Education and Bilingual Education” program.
Accompanied by Principal of Dingshe Elementary School, Mr. Sun Chun-kuo, they visited Dingshe Elementary School's computer classroom, Taiko drumming practice for students of Hsu Chiu-ying's Art Class, the kindergarten's carpentry area, the school's vegetable garden, and the local tea plantation. They also received thank-you speeches and hand-drawn thank-you cards from the representatives of Dingshe Elementary School.
The campus was filled with the creativity and works of Dingshe Elementary School teachers and students, and the children who participated in Hsu Chiu Ying's art class were full of talent in taiko drumming, lion dance, and unicycling.
2022 COMPAL Christmas Big Sisters visited Dingshe Elementary School, 2023 Dingshe Elementary School children participated in COMPAL's Sixth Wetland Environmental Education, and COMPAL Volunteer Club partners went to Dingshe Elementary School to introduce SDGs to the children; COMPAL Big Brothers and Big Sisters are looking forward to meeting with the children of Dingshe Elementary School again.
COMPAL computers support digital learning, creative education, bilingual education on campus, promoting food and agriculture education and ecological sustainability, recognizing local ecology and preserving community native species. We hope that the children will enjoy learning and grow up happily.
