Compal Joins RE100 as a New Member, Committing to 100% Renewable Energy by 2050

Compal announced today (13th) that it has officially joined RE100, a global renewable energy initiative led by Climate Group in partnership with CDP.

RE100 is a global initiative aimed at encouraging the world’s most influential companies to commit to 100% renewable electricity. Currently, the initiative brings together over 400 companies from various industries worldwide, all dedicated to using 100% renewable electricity. Compal’s participation demonstrates its future leadership in renewable energy, promoting environmental protection and sustainable development.

2024 marks the 40th anniversary of Compal. Since its establishment, the company has been committed to understanding the impacts of its operations on society, the environment, and ecology, declaring its determination and commitment to sustainable development. Environmentally, Compal has been actively promoting energy-saving measures in its plants, automating production, developing environmentally friendly products, incorporating recycled materials, fostering a circular economy, and reducing the energy demand of its products during use. Compal and its invested subsidiaries aim to achieve 100% renewable energy usage by 2050.
