Compal 2023 Sustainability Report is Now Available

Compal (Ticker: 2324 TW) has released its 2023 Sustainability Report, covering the period from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023. This report details the company's annual performance in environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) aspects.

 

Key Performance

  • 2023 revenues amounted to NT$946.7 billion, and net profits grew 5.2% YoY to NT$7.668 billion.
  • In 2023, the market-based emissions per NTD$1 million of revenue decreased by 0.030 tCO₂e YoY.
  • In 2024, Compal became a member of RE100, committing to achieving 100% renewable energy usage by 2050. By 2023, the company had already reached 47.72% of this goal across its global facilities.
  • Invited 34 key suppliers to join the Compal ONE+N electronics industry net zero acceleration plan and declaration on reducing carbon emissions by 10,000 tCO₂e.
  • Set up the “ESG GO Training platform” online system to provide a platform for supplier education and training.
  • Joined the “2023 TALENT in Taiwan, Taiwan Talent Sustainability Development Alliance” to promote six key indicators.
  • MSCI ESG Ratings has consecutively received an A rating.
  • Presented with “Taiwan Top 100 Sustainability Exemplary Award” by the Taiwan Institute of Sustainable Energy.
