Compal has again achieved great success and was awarded the honor from Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA)

        Compal Electronics has, with its sustainable development, once again, achieved great results. In 2020, it was decorated the dual honors as "Corporate Sustainability Report-Platinum Award" and "English Report-Silver Award", and today it is represented by Lu Ching-hsiung, vice general manager and company spokesperson on behalf of the company, to participate in the award ceremony of "2020 Taiwan TCSA Corporate Sustainability Awards" held by the Taiwan Institute Sustainable Energy (TAISE) to receive the awards. For this year, there are a total of 192 companies that have taken part in the evaluation of Chinese and English Reports, and received comprehensive assessments of corporate sustainability and ESG performance reviews. Ever since 2008, TAISE has organized "Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Report Award" appraisal activity, 364 companies have registered for appraisal selection over the years, growing 22 times in 13 years, and its total annual turnover as well as their value of ratio against that of our country's has reached 145% in 2019. As such, it shows that Taiwanese companies are very much in line with international standards and attach importance to environmental sustainability, social integration, and  development of corporate governance.

    Compal Electronics has always adhered to the corporate tenets as "innovation, harmony, and surpass", and committed to working towards the goals of "creating a sustainable life for mankind with technology."     Lu Ching-hsiung, vice general manager and spokesperson of Compal Electronics, noted, "2020 TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Report Awards” has again affirmed that Compal Electronics is a good company with integrity, openness, and transparency, and is deeply trusted by its stakeholders and employees. Since 2010, Compal has started to prepare corporate social responsibility (CSR) reports. For this occasion, it was decorated with the honors of Corporate Sustainability Report-Platinum Award and English Report-Silver Award, further showing that the company is given with smooth and transparent communication with its stakeholders and information disclosure, and it has honestly worked to disclose current company situations and developments to the outside world. 
    As of 2020, Compal has been selected for FTSE4GOOD Index for 5 consecutive years and MSCI ESG Leaders Index for 13 years, reckoned as a long-term recognition to the company's sustainable investment value by large international institutions. In addition, Compal Electronics has also achieved the outstanding result ranking as top 6-20% among companies in Taiwan Corporate Governance Evaluation. In the future, Compal should persist to uphold the value and belief of law-abiding and integrity, provide customers with best products and technologies via continuous innovations, and render advanced all-round services as it actively cultivates and cares for talents, promotes a happy society, and creates a better future for mankind.
