The colleagues of Compal participating in the activity of “2020 Dream Come True” held by HCI Foundation

    

It has been 11 years since the Compal participated in the adoption activity of the “2020 Dream Come True” held by the HCI Foundation. Our colleagues will adopt disadvantaged elementary school students and pay the scholarship monthly to help them learn their special talent.

According to the survey statistics of the HCI Foundation, in all those years, over 3,000 colleagues in the Compal have adopted more than 800 disadvantaged elementary school students. In 2020, under the influence of the Covid-19, the over-all situation is bad so we have more than 300 disadvantaged children in Taoyuan, Pingtung, New Taipei, Taitung, and Yunlin applied in this activity. 252 Compal colleagues donate their salaries of NT $2.161 million as the scholarship to help the students to continue their talent learning to bring into full play and improve themselves.

We hope our colleagues not only help the disadvantaged students and the students in the rural area to get good quality education but also get the spirit of learning and innovation to advance self-ability and keep on learning how to protect the Earth and humanistic environment. It takes ten years to nurture a tree, but a hundred years to train a man. So, everyone has the right to learn in life and bring what they are good at into full play. Education is a way to have the roots in sustainable development.
