2019 Compal Continuous Cultivation of Sustainability , Awarded with TCSA -Taiwan Enterprise Sustainability Award

   At the 2019 Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) ceremony held on November 28 by The Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TSISE), Compal Electronics Inc. won the Platinum Award from the Corporate Sustainability Report Awards, with VP Ching-Hsiung Lu attending the event and receiving the award on behalf of Compal.

   This year (2019), a total of 177 companies and organizations ran for the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Report Awards, with their Chinese and English CSR reports being rated for sustainability and societal impacts in terms of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. Over the years, TSISE has evaluated the CSR reports of 289 companies and organizations, with up to 26% of companies and organizations from each sector. This trend suggests that increasing Taiwan-based companies and organizations are connecting with the world by emphasizing ESG sustainability.

  According to VP Lu, “The 2019 Platinum Award of TCSA Corporate Sustainability Report Award recognizes again that Compal has won trust from stakeholders and employees with its business integrity and operation transparency. This suggests that Compal has maintained integrity and transparency when communicating with stakeholders and disclosing information to the public, in order for outsiders to fully understand the company’s status and development.”
