Compal has already submitted to the board of directors for approval about the donation proposal for NT$100 million in taking part with Tzu Chi Foundation to support its donation of epidemic prevention vaccines to Taiwan. All the purchased vaccines will be donated to the competent government agencies for epidemic prevention against novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19). All in all, all vaccines will be coordinated of utility by the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) and provided to the general public for vaccination the soonest.

Since the company hopes to help Taiwan get rid of the impact from Covid-19 on our livelihood as soon as possible, it is why that it participated in publishing a full-page advertisement on Sankei Shimbun on June 13, and offered our thanks to Japan for having donated AZ vaccine to Taiwan “without compensation.” On August 16, it donated NT$100 million to Tzu Chi Foundation for purchasing BNT vaccines to help Taiwan overcome the epidemic in the earliest date. According to the notice released by CECC on September 30, a total of 15 million doses of BNT vaccine were donated by Tzu Chi Foundation, TSMC, and Foxconn and YongLin Charity Foundation, with 2.38 million doses already delivered. Besides, Compal should continue to respond to 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and hopes to reach SDGs3 by 2030 to "ensure a healthy life and promote the well-being of all ages" as it fulfill its corporate social responsibility (CSR) to stamp out Covid-19 infectious disease, and promote sustainable healthy life for all nationals. As such, Compal should wish the Taiwanese society to overcome the epidemic most soon.
