COMPAL joins KPMG’s pre-owned computer donation to bridge the digital divide in remote areas.

Since the Ministry of Education promulgated the “Digital Application Enhancement Project in Remote Areas” in 2005, COMPAL has spared no effort to invest and participate in various digital public welfare activities of corporate partners every year. So far, COMPAL has participated in KPMG’s Charity Month Computer Donation Event held every December for eight consecutive years. This year, COMPAL also donated second-hand laptops to help Miaoli County Touwu Hill Community Development Association and Tungsiao DOC to promote digital education.

 

COMPAL will continue to work with partners to optimize the quality of education for all, bridge the digital divide between urban and rural areas, and promote the Digital Opportunity Center (DOC) in the community to help local residents and schoolchildren use digital technology, thus breaking the age barrier and turning dreams into reality.
