"COMPAL 2021 "Among Us"" Charity Event

2021 / 11/ 27

COMPAL arranged the charity event for colleagues in Taipei and Taoyuan on November 20 and November 27 respectively.   Colleagues and their family members were invited to watch the movie ""Among Us,"" that documented the growth of autistic children, and to collectively encourage and support the stars living under the same sky.  In consideration of pandemic disease prevention, 7 auditoriums in two sessions were reserved according to the registration of colleagues, and a total of 269 colleagues and their family members watched together.

COMPAL has long devoted its efforts in social care, paying attention to educational resources and reducing inequality.  We have worked with Taiwan D.B. Art Collective for the past three years to employ young adults with autism and sponsored the filming of Among Us.  We promote gender equality, respect of differences, and acceptance of diversified ideas to allow people to understand the diversity and various possibilities of life and existence from different angles.

As Chairman Hsu, Sheng-Shiung said in the documentary film "Among Us":

"If everyone adopts empathy and kindness, our society will be more harmonious and beautiful.  The documentary film Among Us leads us into the inner world of autistic children, which allows us to understand, accept and accommodate these differences of life through this close-up view provided by the film.  I hope that everyone will support this good movie, so that the children of "Among Us" can be themselves and live a colorful and brilliant life."
