Compal Electronics, Inc. (“Compal”) (TAIEX: 2324) today announced Year 2015 consolidated financial results. Consolidated revenue in 2015 totaled NT$847,306 million, an increase of 0.2% YoY. Consolidated operating profit was NT$11,312 million, a decrease of 3% YoY, and operating margin rate was 1.34%. Net profit attributed to the parent company was NT$8,685 million, an increase of 24% YoY. Earnings per share (EPS) were NT$2.01 in 2015.
Compal 4Q15 consolidated revenue was NT$234,298 million, thanks to the seasonality, +9% QoQ but -5% YoY. Operating profit was NT$3,084 million, +19% QoQ but -29% YoY, with operating margin rate of 1.32% in 4Q15. Net profit contributed to the parent company was NT$2,273 million, -21% QoQ and -48% YoY. EPS were NT$0.53 in 4Q15.
